Beaman United FC competed in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) KY-TN Conference for its inaugural season (Spring/Summer 2022), with Nashvillians from around the globe! Representing 19 countries (USA, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ghana, Honduras, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, and Venezuela) and 10 languages (English, Afrikaans, Bambara, Khana, Luo, Patois, Portuguese, Spanish, Swahili, and Twi). We played 27 games with an overall record of 23 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws, while competing in the UPSL Premiere Division, Chattanooga Soccer Cup, and the USASA Region III Amateur
Cup.
In the UPSL, BUFC played 17 games with a record of 15 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. BUFC
accompanied this impressive inaugural season with winning the KY-TN Premier Division
Championship, KY-TN Premier Division Playoff Championship, UPSL Southeast Regional
Championship, and ended their journey at the UPSL National Championship as National
Runner-Up.
The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is the largest and fastest growing Pro Development Soccer league in America and is made up of over 400 teams nationally. While competing in the UPSL, BUFC also went to the Chattanooga Soccer Cup and participated in the USASA Region III Amateur Cup and came out on top as Champions in both competitions. BUFC earned an impressive six trophies in its inaugural season. In six months, with the team beginning in February 2022, BUFC has grown from 1 team to 9 teams. We began with one BUFC Men’s team and have since added; a second Men’s team (BUFC II) competing in the UPSL Premier this fall, a BUFC Women’s team competing in the UPSL Women’s during the summer months, and a BUFC Academy with six youth teams.
The goal for the Fall is to continue to nurture and challenge each of our players from the
academy to our senior teams. BUFC wants to provide soccer teams striving for excellence and integrity, concern for all athletes and staff, and a desire to provide lasting impact in our
community.
