Gift's Story

Gift Ndam is the owner and visionary behind Tennessee Tempo FC, a dynamic soccer club based in Middle Tennessee. Competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) and gearing up for an exciting expansion into the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) in Summer 2025, Tennessee Tempo FC embodies Gift’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity, inclusivity, and talent development within the soccer community.

Born in Nigeria, Gift immigrated to the United States as a refugee at the age of 13. Navigating the challenges of a new life, his journey instilled in him resilience, determination, and a deep desire to give back. These qualities have become the foundation of his leadership and his dedication to empowering players and communities through soccer.

Gift’s coaching education is extensive, reflecting his dedication to excellence in the sport. He holds prestigious certifications through U.S. Soccer and NSCAA, including the Premier License, Director of Coaching Diploma, Player Development Curriculum I & II, Advanced National Goalkeeping License, USSF National Youth License, and the USSF “D” National License. These achievements, combined with years of practical experience, position him as an innovative leader focused on player development and long-term success.

Academically, Gift is a highly accomplished scholar with degrees that reflect his passion for leadership and service. He earned a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO, as well as three degrees from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN: a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Arts in Religion, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology. These academic credentials equip him with the strategic vision and organizational expertise to lead Tennessee Tempo FC with excellence.

Through his work with Tennessee Tempo FC, Gift remains devoted to creating opportunities, building strong community connections, and inspiring the next generation of players. His personal story, professional achievements, and relentless pursuit of positive change make him a driving force in the soccer world and beyond.
